Local Attractions:
1, 2 and 3 Day Fraser Island tours all picking up daily from reception and returning late afternoon all year round. Daily fishing trip also leave from the Hervey Bay Marina. Our famous Whale Watching season commences each year in late July to end of October where you can experience the best viewing in the world. Local and Barrier reef coral viewing trips depart daily. Mainland attractions include the The Esplanade, Urangan Pier, WetSide Water Park, M&K model train display, Fraser Coast Discovery Sphere, Reefworld Aquarium, and for the more adventurous; there are Helicopter, fixed wing, ultra light joy flights and parachuting. Exploring the town by push bike is a very popular past time, it is flat and set along 14Klm of beach and parklands with over 30km of dedicated bike paths for you to use.
