The Camp Ground is located within the Lake Cootharaba Bushland Conservation and Recreation Reserve. Campers choose their own area on arrival. Note: We are NOT on Town Water, please arrange your own water supply before arrival. On your first visit, we recommend you walk around the reserve before selecting an area. We have 8 powered sites suitable for small caravans, camper trailers and tents located in the centre of the park, which are NOT connected to Water or Sullage. A Dump Point is available onsite.

Boreen Point Camping Grounds - bushland camping on the shore of the largest lake on the Noosa River - Lake Cootharaba. Lake Cootharaba has been a popular location for recreational activities such as camping, fishing and sailing for more than 70 years. The lake has a long sandy foreshore for the length of the park. Camping is not permitted on the beach or foreshore. You may leave boats and watercraft on the beach during your stay. To enhance your experience of this wonderful environment, Kayaks and Tinnies are available for hire from the camp ground office. Boreen Point sports facilities including a sports field, BMX track and basketball practice area are located behind the campground and a children's playground is located just before the entrance to the camping grounds. Note: We are NOT on Town Water, please arrange your own water supply before arrival. Our Powered sites are not connected to Water or Sullage. However a Dump Point is available onsite.

Getting There:
From Brisbane or Gympie, Turn off Bruce Highway (Pioneer Road) for Pomona and Kin Kin. Turn off Pomona - Kin Kin Road (Louis Bazzo Drive) for Boreen Point. From Noosa and Tewantin take Tewantin - Boreen Point Road (McKinnon Drive). On Arrival in Boreen Point drive down to the shore of the Lake and into the Bushland Reserve. Guests must collect your Permit from the Camp Ground Office located within the Reserve before proceeding to Camping Areas. On your first visit, you may wish to walk around the Reserve to choose a Camping Area.
